Zoe Herriot by Nemo-the-Everbeing Zoe Herriot by Nemo-the-Everbeing
This was part of a series of drawings I did of companions wearing bits of their Doctor's costume. It was fun, and a nice way to keep a character study interesting. They were all done with ink and marker, touched up in Photoshop with the background fill color added at that time.

I love this, espcially how she's wearing his bowtie.

YAY Zoe! I feel like she's often forgotten and she was awesome! Love the subtlety of the flute. Oh, why must so many of the second doctor stories be destroyed...

Sing it, man. I have sat through the recreations, because audio and stills are better than nothing at all. Though I really hope they go through and animate the lost episodes like they did with 'The Invasion'. Really awesome idea!

The Invasion was so amazingly done! I hope they continue in that vein as well. I've found the novelizations of the second Doctor's adventures are rather well written and paint a good picture of the lost episodes. They're pretty affordable even though they are out of print as they were penny novels in their time. But animation would be fun- though it's still not quite the same as the real thing. But I'll take it, considering.

The novelizations that I read from that time were very good. I can sometimes find them in used bookstores, and will usually pick them up when I see them. But animation would be the best option available. Unless another cache of unknown reels are found somewhere again!

Yes, optimum would be randomly finding more old reels in Hong Kong again.

Personally, I think it's South America's turn to pitch in. Come on, Chile! What are you waiting for?

Haha! I had a great time doing these, and Zoe is always so fun to draw.
