Artist's Comments

This was an image I made of the Ninth Doctor, as I imagined he might have been in the immediate aftermath of the Time War. It was done in ink and marker and then cleaned up in Photoshop.

It's "Doctor Who." If you're asking more specifically about an episode, it's pre-new series.

I'm so glad you came to DA! This is beautiful.

The Ninth Doctor always had a way of breaking my heart and you've captured his loneliness in a great way.

You are most welcome here at :devart:!
I love your original artwork for Doctor Who. Your style is unique.

Do you wanna come with me?
It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: the trip of a lifetime.

Thank you very much for both the welcome and the kind words.

That is just... The contrast of the totally ordinary, rather happy scenery and the sheer pain radiating out from the Doctor is breathtaking. He looks like he's on Earth as a sort of.. automatic response. He just wanted to run and run and went to the first place that he felt in some way attached to.

This is really amazing. I'm looking forward very much to seeing more pictures from you at the Doctor Who club.
